Arsenal have joined the likes of Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC in the race to sign Jorginho from Napoli this summer, according to reports in Italy.

Italian radio station Radio CRC, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the three English clubs are keeping tabs on the midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.

The same story also carries quotes from Jorginho’s representative Joao Santos, who claims that Manchester City, along with the three other Premier League clubs, have all made enquiries about the 26-year-old’s availability.

The defensive midfielder has been in strong form for Napoli this season and has scored two goals and made four assists in 32 Serie A games for the Italian side.

The same article claims that Jorginho is valued at around £60m by Napoli ahead of the summer transfer window.

Arsenal are likely to be on the lookout for a number of new signings as they prepare for life after Arsene Wenger.

Chelsea FC, who take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday, are probably also going to look to revamp their squad after a disappointing campaign, while Liverpool FC will feel that they will be able to challenge for the title next season with the right additions.
