The 26-year-old has long been touted as a possible target for Premier League clubs and reports emerged last week claiming that Unai Emery was keen to make the Nice star his first signing of the summer.
Seri has also long been linked with a move to Chelsea FC, who are likely to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer following their disappointing form in the Premier League last season.
Now, the player’s agent has responded to talk of a summer transfer for his client, who has also been touted as a target for Italian side Napoli.
Seri’s agent Franklin Mala has now opened up about the speculation surrounding Seri’s future.
He is quoted as saying by Metro: “It’s true that there are possibilities in England, so we’ll see.
“But [new Napoli manager] Carlo Ancelotti has a strong image and is very respected by the players he’s managed, which can be a decisive factor for Seri.
“Basically, he works via his emotions. He’ll go where he’s most desired, so if you really want him and you’re welcoming…
“Because Napoli play nice football, and over the years they’ve become a bigger club, so he’s going to listen very carefully.”
Arsenal are bound to be linked with a host of players this summer as they look to build a squad capable of breaking back into the top four next season.
The north London side have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign, when they were still playing their games at Highbury.
