The Gunners legend believes Sokratis Papastathopoulos would be a great addition to the Arsenal team

Former Arsenal star Pires believes the Greece defender would be a good addition to the Gunners team.
“I think improving the defence must be a priority for the new manager and I think Sokratis Papastathopoulos would be a very good signing,” Pires told bwin.
“He’s been a consistent performer for Borussia Dortmund and I would like to see him lead the defensive line for Arsenal.”
Arsenal lost 3-0 to Premier League champions Manchester City in the League Cup final at Wembley back in February.
The Gunners haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04.
Wenger is set to stand down as Arsenal manager at the end of the season.
