Man United concerned about missing out on signing Real Madrid star – report
Man United are worried about being priced out of a move to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer, say reports
Manchester United fear being priced out of a move to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is reporting that Real Madrid are poised to place a huge £200m price tag on Bale following his heroics in the Champions League final against Liverpool FC on Saturday.
Bale’s future has been making the headlines in recent days after the 28-year-old admitted that he will consider his future at Real Madrid this summer after his lack of playing time this season.
The same article says that Real Madrid are keen to bring in as much money as possible if they do sell Bale, so they can fund a transfer move to land Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
The story also claims that should Bale sign on for four seasons at Old Trafford, it would take the financial package to as much as £320m.
According to the same article, Manchester United will try to negotiate a lower fee for Bale and could try and include Anthony Martial as part of the deal.
Bale made the headlines on Saturday as he came off the bench to score twice in Real Madrid’s Champions League final triumph over Liverpool FC in Kiev.
