The Chelsea FC boss is facing an uncertain future at the west London side following a disappointing Premier League campaign.
Italian head coach Conte led the Blues to the Premier League title in his first season in charge of the Stamford Bridge outfit.
The west London outfit lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the FA Cup final to miss out on a unique double.
Conte’s men have struggled to defend their Premier League crown this season following Manchester City’s unique season.
Chelsea FC are two points behind fourth-placed Liverpool FC in the race to secure a Champions League spot next term.
Liverpool FC, on the other hand, have made excellent progress this season, including their run to the Champions League final.
Former Liverpool FC midfielder Murphy believes Conte should adopt Klopp’s approach to dealing with his players.
“Jurgen Klopp is a manager players want to work for,” Murphy told the Evening Standard.
“You can tell he places a lot of importance on his relationship with his players at Liverpool, and they like and respect him in return.
“Antonio Conte, by contrast, seems to be someone who expects respect from his players, without giving much in return. Perhaps that comes from working in Italian football all his career before he moved to Chelsea.”
The Reds will take on La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev later this month.
