The Liverpool FC legend is tipping Chelsea FC to bounce back stronger under a new manager next season

Danny Muprhy is backing Chelsea FC to come back stronger under a new manager next term.

The Blues are in fifth place in the Premier League table and two points behind Liverpool FC ahead of their final game of the season.

Chelsea FC will make the trip to Newcastle United and hope that Liverpool FC lose to Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield.

The west London side won the Premier League title with two games to spare last season to see off Tottenham’s challenge.

Antonio Conte may have won the Premier League title at the first time of asking, the Italian head coach is being tipped to leave this summer.

Chelsea FC have been linked with Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri and former Borussia Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel.

Former Liverpool FC midfielder Murphy believes Chelsea FC will bounce back stronger next term despite a difficult season.

“Whoever comes in, I would expect Chelsea to be strong next season.” Murphy told the Evening Standard.

“You might not be there long as a manager, but you have the opportunity to make a significant impact if you get it right.”

Chelsea FC signed Everton midfielder Ross Barkley, AS Roma defender Emerson Palmieri and Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window.

The west London side will take on bitter rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley later this month.
