Michael Owen has tipped Alexis Sanchez to have a big game in the FA Cup final on Saturday evening.

Manchester United will take on their bitter rivals Chelsea FC in the Wembley showpiece as both clubs look to end mixed seasons with some silverware.

The Chile international moved to Manchester United in a swap deal from Arsenal in the January transfer window following three and a half campaigns at The Emirates.

Sanchez has struggled to hit the ground running at Old Trafford after a return of three goals and three assists in 17 outings so far.

The 29-year-old won the FA Cup twice and two Community Shields during his spell at Arsenal following a move to the Gunners from FC Barcelona in 2014.

Chelsea FC lost 2-1 to Manchester United at Old Trafford in their last Premier League meeting earlier this year.

Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is tipping Sanchez to have a big game against Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday evening.

“United are likely to welcome back Romelu Lukaku following injury, and they will be looking for another big game from Alexis Sanchez who was inspirational in the semi-final victory over Spurs,” Owen told BetVictor.

“The Chilean could become the first player to score in back-to-back Cup Finals with different teams if he finds the back of the Chelsea net.”

Manchester United finished in second place in the table and 11 points ahead of 2017 Premier League champions Chelsea FC in the English top flight.

The Red Devils lost 2-1 to Sevilla in the Champions League round of 16, while FC Barcelona were 4-1 winners against the Blues.
