N’Golo Kante has urged Chelsea FC to seize their chance to finish the season on a positive note ahead of their clash against Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

The France international has been one of the best players for the west London side this term despite the Blues finishing in fifth spot in the Premier League table.

Chelsea FC have failed to finish in the top four for the second time in three seasons despite winning the Premier League title last term.

The Blues are looking to win the FA Cup at the second time of asking after the west London side lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the final back in May 2017.

Chelsea FC were 1-0 winners against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge back in October, before the Red Devils eased to a 2-1 victory over the Blues at Old Trafford earlier this year.

Speaking to the club’s website about the FA Cup final at Wembley next weekend, Kante said:

“For me it is the fifth or sixth time playing at Wembley, and it is always good.

“Having half and half supporters makes it very special. The only thing I have won there are two semi-finals, so to win one trophy there would be really amazing.

“We are all a bit disappointed about our final place in the table, but this is something to win, something to finish the season on a good note, and something we can enjoy all together with the team, the staff, the supporters. We are really looking forward to it.”

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title with two games to spare back in 2016-17 after the Blues finished seven points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.

Kante won the PFA player of the year award last season following his move to Chelsea FC from Leicester City in a £30m deal in the 2016 summer transfer window.
