The Liverpool FC legend is backing Manchester United to win a record-equalling 13th FA Cup crown on Saturday evening
Michael Owen is backing Manchester United to come out on top against Chelsea FC in a tense FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday evening.
The Red Devils will look to equal Arsenal’s record of 13 FA Cup titles after the Gunners were 2-1 winners against the Blues at Wembley last season.
Manchester United edged to a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley in the last four to book their place in the FA Cup showpiece.
The 20-time English champions were 2-1 extra-time winners against Crystal Palace at the home of English football in Louis van Gaal’s final game in charge in 2016.
Chelsea FC ended up in sixth spot in the Premier League table this season but the Blues can still end the season with some silverware if the west London side beat Manchester United.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is backing Manchester United to beat Chelsea FC in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday.
“It is United to win a record-equalling 13th FA Cup Final for me – but I expect to see a tight, tense, close affair, which could go all the way,” Owen told BetVictor.
Manchester United lost 1-0 to Chelsea FC in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge last autumn following Alvaro Morata’s winner.
The Red Devils got their revenge in February after Manchester United were 2-1 winners against the Blues at Old Trafford.
