Ander Herrera has rated Manchester United’s of beating Chelsea FC in FA Cup final as “50 per cent”.

The Red Devils are looking to win their third major trophy in two seasons under Portuguese head coach Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United were 2-1 winners against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley thanks to goals from Herrera and Alexis Sanchez.

Chelsea FC eased to a 2-0 victory over Southampton in the FA Cup last four to reach successive finals following a 2-1 loss to Arsenal last term.

Antonio Conte’s side eased to a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge thanks to Alvaro Morata’s headed winner.

Manchester United got their revenge at Old Trafford following a 2-1 victory over Chelsea FC.

Speaking to the club’s website about Manchester United’s FA Cup showpiece against the west London side, Herrera said:

“[There is] fifty per cent of possibilities for us.

“We will respect Chelsea, they are a top team and are used to winning as well. That makes the final even more difficult.

“But we are Manchester United, so they are going to respect us as well.”

Manchester United finished in second place in the Premier League table for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign.

Chelsea FC missed out on a top-four spot for the second time in three seasons after a 3-0 loss to Newcastle United at St James’ Park last weekend.

The Red Devils won the FA Cup in 2015 after Louis van Gaal’s side were 2-1 winners after extra time against Crystal Palace.
