Cesc Fabregas has urged his Chelsea FC team-mates to give their all against Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday evening.

The Blues will be hoping to make amends for a disappointing end to the 2017-18 season under Italian head coach Antonio Conte.

Chelsea FC were 1-0 winners against Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge to offer the Blues late hope of securing a top-four finish.

The west London side came from behind to rescue a disappointing 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town before Chelsea FC suffered a 3-0 loss to Newcastle United in their final Premier League fixture.

The Blues finished a staggering 30 points adrift of Premier League champions Manchester City despite winning the title with two games to spare in the 2016-17 season.

Chelsea FC can still win their second trophy in successive seasons under Conte if the Blues manage to beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

Fabregas urged his Blues team-mates to be at their best for the FA Cup clash against Manchester United this weekend.

“You have to feel the fire inside of you, the hunger you want to show on the pitch and this is something neither me or the coach can bring to the players,” Fabregas is quoted as saying by the Daily Express.

“The fire – you have it or you don’t have it and on Saturday we have to make sure everyone is on top of their game.

“It’s the first day we are back training since the Newcastle defeat, obviously we need to play much better but I’m 100 per cent sure we don’t even have to say that.

“But, it’s a final, it’s a big game and I feel that normally in those games you shouldn’t have to motivate players to play football because we do what we love and we always have to do it 120 per cent.

“It’s a final against United, on a big stage at Wembley, the last game of the season, you just have to go all for it.”

Chelsea FC were 2-0 winners against Southampton in the FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley last month.

The Blues lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the FA Cup showpiece last term to miss out on the double.
