The Spanish striker missed Chelsea FC’s 1-0 win over Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge on Sunday after picking up an injury in training in the lead-up to the game.
Morata will be hoping to make his return to action in this week as he bids to help Chelsea FC try and break back into the top four before the season is out.
Chelsea FC are currently fifth in the table but can move level on points with third-placed Liverpool FC if they win their game in hand.
The 25-year-old striker has struggled with injury problems in the second portion of the season after having made a strong start to the campaign this term.
However, Conte has revealed that he is hoping to see Morata back in action for the Blues when they take on Huddersfield Town at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Sunday afternoon, Conte said: “It [Morata’s injury] not serious, in my mind there is the intention for him to be in contention for the game against Huddersfield.
“I hope to recover him because today on the bench we had no striker and it’s very difficult to prepare another plan when you have two strikers and one is injured.”
Chelsea FC are also looking to win the FA Cup title this season and they will take on Manchester United in the final at Wembley at the end of the month.
