Juventus want to re-sign Alvaro Morata this summer after just a year at Chelsea FC, according to reports in the British media.

Sky Sports is reporting that the Serie A champions are keen on a move to bring the Spanish striker back to Turin after his mixed debut campaign in the Premier League.

Morata made a strong start to life at Chelsea FC after having signed for the Blues from Real Madrid last summer, but his form tapered off in the middle of the campaign after he suffered a back problem.

Now, it is being claimed that Juventus are keen on a move to bring their former striker back to Turin after his two-year spell with the Italian club between 2014 and 2016.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea FC would be willing to let Morata leave after just one year, with the prime years of his career still ahead of him.

The 25-year-old Spain international will still be hoping to help Chelsea FC end the season on a high by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley next weekend.

The Blues are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as they look to try and assemble a squad capable of winning the title next season.
