Antonio Conte has insisted that he will stay loyal to his contract at Chelsea FC despite the speculation about his future.

The Italian manager’s situation at Chelsea FC has been a relentless source of speculation in recent weeks after a disappointing second campaign in charge for him.

Chelsea FC struggled to produce consistent form in the Premier League and ended up slipping to a fifth-placed finish and missing out on Champions League qualification for next season.

The Blues will now try to end the season on a high when they take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday evening.

It remains to be seen whether Conte will indeed stay in charge at Chelsea FC beyond the summer or whether the Blues will look to appoint a new manager ahead of next season.

However, the man himself was not giving much away when quizzed directly about his future after Chelsea FC’s 3-0 loss to Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.

Asked about his future at his post-match news conference, Conte simply said: “I have a contract and I am committed to this club.”

Chelsea FC struggled to produce consistent form in the top flight this season as they slumped to a fifth-placed finish after having won the title in style last term.
