Thierry Henry has admitted that he is not expecting to see Antonio Conte remain in charge of Chelsea FC next season.

The Italian’s situation at Stamford Bridge has been a source of constant uncertainty this season after Chelsea FC’s failure to defend their Premier League title.

The Blues have slumped down to a fifth placed finish in the Premier League this season, meaning that they will have to settle for a place in the Europa League next season rather than the Champions League.

Conte does have the opportunity to help Chelsea FC finish the season on a positive note when they take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley at the end of the month.

The west London side are aiming to finish the campaign by beating Jose Mourinho’s men to lift the FA Cup trophy.

It remains to be seen whether Conte will indeed remain in charge at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer, but Arsenal legend Henry clearly feels like the Italian’s days are numbered at the west London club.

Speaking to Sky Sports on Sunday, Henry said: “[Does he have a future] at Chelsea? No, it will be difficult.

“It [the season] started like that.

“I know Antonio and I think he was a bit to loud for what people like over there at Chelsea. It’s going to be very difficult for him.”

Chelsea FC will take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday evening.
