Tiemoue Bakayoko has admitted that he would be very disappointed if Antonio Conte left Chelsea FC this summer.

The Italian manager’s future is set to be a source of speculation in the coming weeks as the end of the season draws nearer.

It has been something of a disappointing campaign for the Blues under Conte this term, with Chelsea FC having struggled to produce consistent performances in the Premier League this season after having won the title last year.

Many are expecting to see Conte leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, but Bakayoko is very much hoping that the Italian stays in charge of the west London club.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Bakayoko said: “I don’t really pay attention to that.

“He’s never said that he might leave and he’s always extremely focused on winning, on doing well in the season.

“As a player, I would be disappointed [if he leaves]. We all like working with the coach and having this relationship in the long-term.

“I’ve been working with him for a year and I’ve progressed a lot under him but it’s really up to the club management, up to him and his entourage but he hasn’t said anything.”

Chelsea FC will look to end the season on a high when they take on Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley next weekend.

The Blues are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as they look to try and assemble a squad capable of winning the Premier League title next season.

The west London side reached the FA Cup final last season but they were beaten by Arsenal in the final.
