Antonio Conte has warned Chelsea FC that Liverpool FC will pose a “very dangerous” threat when they travel to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Reds have been earning huge amounts of praise for their strong performances in recent weeks and they head into the game fresh from having secured their place in the Champions League final.

Liverpool FC secured an aggregate victory over AS Roma in the semi-finals to secure their spot in the final against Real Madrid later this month.

The Reds will now turn their attentions towards securing their place in the top four for this season and making sure that they will be playing Champions League football at Anfield next term.

Chelsea FC, meanwhile, still harbour faint hopes of breaking back into the top four before the season is out – but they will have to beat the Reds at Stamford Bridge to keep those hopes alive.

And Conte has admitted that Liverpool FC will pose a serious threat when they travel to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday, Conte said: “For sure we must pay great attention, especially to their first game against Roma.

“This showed if you give them a lot space behind the defensive line, they are very dangerous. They have three exceptional players who are very good at attacking the space. We must be very compact and prepare the game in the right way.

“For sure Liverpool will want to finish this season in the best possible way, also because they have only two [league] games to go. I don’t think the game in the Champions League will influence them.”

Chelsea FC are still aiming to finish the season with a trophy by winning the FA Cup final against Manchester United later this month.
