Garth Crooks names the Chelsea FC star they have missed badly

Garth Crooks believes that Chelsea FC have been missing a fit and in-form David Luiz badly this season.
The Brazilian defender was a key part of the Chelsea FC side who won the Premier League title in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge at the club last term.
However, the centre-half has struggled with both form and fitness issues this term amid reports of a falling-out with Conte earlier in the campaign.
Indeed, the 31-year-old has only started nine games in the Premier League for Conte’s side and his last appearance for the Blues came back on 5 February against Watford.
Given that David Luiz played such an important role in Chelsea FC’s title charge last term, it is no wonder that the Blues have struggled somewhat in his absence.
And Crooks feels that the defender has been a key cog missing from the Chelsea FC machine this season in what has been a largely disappointing campaign so far.
Crooks told BBC Sport: “With captain Gary Cahill back in the three-man defence with Antonio Rudiger, the Blues looked much more in control of matters at Swansea [on Saturday].
“But boy have they missed a fit and in-form David Luiz.”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action on Sunday when they host Liverpool FC in a crunch top-four clash at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are currently set to miss out on a top four finish, and they are in fifth place in the table.
