Eden Hazard drops major hint about his Chelsea FC future
Eden Hazard drops a hint about his Chelsea FC future beyond the summer
Eden Hazard has hinted that he is prepared to stay at Chelsea FC after insisting that the Blues will be able to challenge for the Premier League next season.
The 27-year-old’s future is likely to be a constant source of speculation this summer after the Blues missed out on a place in the Champions League for next season due to their fifth-placed finish in the Premier League.
Hazard was the star of the show as he helped to fire Chelsea FC to a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday.
The Belgian has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid and that speculation is likely to rear its head again this summer.
However, Chelsea FC fans will be hoping that Hazard’s latest comments about next season are an indicator that he is willing to stay at the west London club.
Asked if Chelsea FC have the building blocks of being able to challenge Manchester City next season, Hazard told the Evening Standard: Yes. We have a lot of top players, players who are used to winning trophies. We will be ready next season.”
“I think all of the players and the club want one thing and that’s to win the title. Of course we will see if we can bring in some new players. But we will be focused on winning the title, that’s it.”
Hazard has won two Premier League titles with Chelsea FC since having signed for the Blues from French side Lille back in the summer of 2012.
