Chelsea FC kept their faint hopes of finishing in the top four alive on Saturday when they claimed a 1-0 win at Swansea City thanks to Cesc Fabregas’ goal at the Liberty Stadium.
The Blues still remain in fifth place in the table as they bid to try and snatch a spot in Europe’s elite club competition for next season.
Liverpool FC, meanwhile, are in third place, but a Chelsea FC win on Sunday would allow the Blues to close the gap to three points – and the west London side also have a game in hand on the Reds.
The race for the top four spots in the Premier League looks set to go down to the wire – and Hazard has warned Liverpool FC that he and his team-mates have their sights firmly set on trying to break back into the Champions League spots before the season is out.
Speaking to Chelsea FC’s website, Hazard said: “We are in the race.
“Like I said, we have three games to play, we play Liverpool so that is a big game for us next week, so now we can prepare for that game and we have one week to be ready for this big game.”
Chelsea FC are also looking to try to win the FA Cup this season and they will take on Manchester United in the final at Wembley next month.
