Man City line up £100m bid to sign Chelsea FC star – report
Manchester City are confident of sealing a deal to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC this summer, say reports
Manchester City are lining up a £100m bid to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Star is reporting that the Citizens are pondering a huge big-money bid for the Belgian playmaker, whose future at Chelsea FC continues to be a source of speculation.
Hazard’s situation at the west London club is poised to be a source of speculation this summer once again, especially after the Blues missed out on qualification for next season’s Champions League.
According to the same report, Hazard is Pep Guardiola’s number one transfer target this summer and the Manchester City coach is confident of being able to lure him to The Etihad.
The same story says that Hazard has been strongly linked with a move to both Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in the past, but Manchester City have now emerged as strong contenders for his signature as well.
Hazard has two years left on his contract at Chelsea FC and Guardiola is apparently keen to exploit the uncertainty surrounding his future.
The former Lille attacker was the star of the show as he helped to inspire Chelsea FC to a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday at Wembley.
