French newspaper L’Equipe, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that Chelsea FC are keen on a £62m move to sign the 24-year-old attacker this summer.
The same report says that Liverpool FC have hit a snag in their bid to try and land the France international this summer, with Chelsea FC now also keen on bringing him to the Premier League.
Fekir has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and he has been touted as a possible target for both Arsenal and Liverpool FC in the past.
Liverpool FC were thought to be leading the race for Fekir ahead of the summer transfer window, despite Jurgen Klopp playing down talk of a move over the weekend.
However, it now looks as though the Reds could be set to face competition from Chelsea FC for the France international’s signature this summer, if the reports in France are to be believed.
Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC are bound to be linked with a host of players this summer as both teams look to assemble squads capable of winning the title next season.
