Chelsea FC could move to sign Robert Lewandowski this summer – report
Chelsea FC target Robert Lewandowski is considering a move away from Bayern Munich, say reports
Robert Lewandowski is considering a move away from Bayern Munich this summer, with both Chelsea FC and Real Madrid interested, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that Lewandowski recently met with super-agent Pini Zahavi for dinner as he ponders a transfer away from the German side this summer.
However, the same story says that Bayern Munich are reluctant to sell the Poland international, who still has three years left on his contract with the Bundesliga side.
Chelsea FC could well be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements after Alvaro Morata’s mixed first season at Stamford Bridge.
According to the same story, super-agent Zahavi has close ties to Chelsea FC, and that could make a move to the west London club easier for the forward.
The 29-year-old Lewandowski has been in incredible form for Bayern Munich once again this season, scoring 29 goals and making two assists in 30 Bundesliga games for the German side.
He also netted five times and made one assist in 11 Champions League games this term.
Chelsea FC are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as the Blues look to assemble a squad capable of winning the title next season.
