Alvaro Morata reaches agreement to leave Chelsea FC this summer – report
Chelsea FC striker Alvaro Morata could be set to return to Juventus this summer, according to reports in the Italian media
Alvaro Morata has agreed a deal to sign for Juventus from Chelsea FC this summer, according to reports in the Italian media.
Italian outlet Rai Sport, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the 25-year-old striker has settled on a deal to leave Chelsea FC after just one season at the west London club.
It has been something of a mixed debut campaign for the striker at Stamford Bridge following his move to the club from Real Madrid last summer.
The striker started the campaign strongly but a back injury hampered his form and progress in the second half of the season, and he missed the 1-0 win over Liverpool FC on Sunday due to a fresh injury problem.
Now, reports in Italy suggest that Morata could be set to head back to Juventus.
The same report says that Morata’s representatives already have an agreement in place for the striker to return to Juventus this summer.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are still aiming to try and break back into the top four this season.
The Blues beat Liverpool FC 1-0 on Sunday and they will move level on points with the Reds if they beat Huddersfield Town in their penultimate game of the season on Wednesday night.
