Alvaro Morata sends clear Chelsea FC warning to Man United
Alvaro Morata is determined to help Chelsea FC beat Man United in the FA Cup final this season
Alvaro Morata has told Manchester United that Chelsea FC are determined to beat the Red Devils to the FA Cup title this season.
It has been something of a disappointing debut campaign for Morata following his move to Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid last summer.
The Spanish forward signed for the Blues in July last year and made a strong start to life at the west London club, before a back injury hampered his run and kept him out of the first team.
Chelsea FC have struggled in the Premier League this season and they currently sit outside the top four place in the table.
Manchester United were also unable to keep pace with Manchester City in the Premier League this season as Pep Guardiola’s men ran away with the title.
Chelsea FC and Manchester United will now face off in the FA Cup final at Wembley later this month as both clubs look to end the season on a high by lifting a trophy.
And Morata, 25, has insisted that he is determined to help Chelsea FC beat the Red Devils and win his first trophy since his move to Stamford Bridge last year.
Speaking in an interview with Spanish newspaper Marca, Morata said: “Chelsea have the chance to win a title and that’s always important.
“There are a lot of teams that have had a good season and that haven’t won anything.
“In England, the FA Cup is valued a lot. It has been a difficult year for us, yet we can still be champions of something.”
