Chelsea FC haven’t received an offer from Juventus to sign Alvaro Morata, according to a report in England.
Website Goal are reporting that the Serie A champions haven’t submitted a bid for the Spain international despite recent transfer speculation.
The same article states that the Blues haven’t agreed a fee contrary to some reports to sell their record signing less than 12 months after Morata moved to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea FC signed Morata in a £60m deal from Champions League holders Real Madrid last summer to bolster their attack ahead of Diego Costa’s return to Atletico Madrid.
However, the 25-year-old has struggled with consistency and form in the past few months to raise questions about his ability to thrive in the Premier League.
According to the same story, both the futures of Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri will need to be resolved at Chelsea FC and Juventus before any potential deal.
The report in Goal adds that the Blues won’t consider offloading Morata for less than their initial investment in the Spanish forward.
Morata has scored 11 goals and has mad six assists in 29 games in the Premier League in his first season in England.
