Chelsea FC are interested in a sensational swoop to secure the services of Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager, according to a report in England.

Sky Sports is reporting that Pochettino is a potential target for the 2017 Premier League champions in the summer given Antonio Conte’s uncertain future.

The same article states that current Blues manager Antonio Conte is set to leave Chelsea FC following the FA Cup final at Wembley next weekend.

The Blues will take on Manchester United at Wembley after Chelsea FC were 2-0 winners against Southampton in the FA Cup showpiece.

Chelsea FC missed out on a spot in the Champions League next term after the Blues lost 3-0 to Newcastle United in their final Premier League game.

According to the same story, former FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique and Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri are two leading contenders to take over the reins from Conte.

However, Sky Sports name Pochettino as another candidate to replace Conte at the west London club following his success at Tottenham.

The Argentinian coach has led Spurs to three successive top-four finishes in the Premier League but Tottenham haven’t managed to get their hands on silverware.

Spurs lost 2-1 to Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.
