Insider rates Man United’s chances of signing Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC
Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur rules out Man United signing Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC this summer
Manchester United won’t sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window, Belgian reporter Kristof Terreur has claimed.
The Red Devils have been linked with a sensational swoop to sign Hazard from the 2017 Premier League champions at the end of the season.
Hazard and his Chelsea FC team-mates will be without Champions League football for the second time in three seasons.
The 27-year-old is entering his prime and Hazard will be desperate to have another tilt at winning the competition for the first time.
Hazard has been regularly linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid and Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain in recent seasons.
Manchester City have also been touted as a potential destination for Hazard should Chelsea FC make the controversial decision to cash in on their star player.
Belgian reporter Terreur emphatically ruled out Hazard completing a move to Manchester United from Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window.
“I don’t think Man United is a genuine rumour,” Terruer told the Transfer Talk podcast.
“Man City could be interested but Chelsea won’t be open to sell him. He wants to play in another country. I think it is all about Real Madrid with him.”
Hazard scored a first-half winner from the penalty spot in Chelsea FC’s 1-0 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley last weekend.
The Red Devils have also been linked with swoop to sign Chelsea FC winger Willian.
