Ian Wright has urged Liverpool FC to keep their focus despite Chelsea FC’s recent momentum in the top-four race.

The Reds are in third place in the Premier League table ahead of their home clash against Brighton and Hove Albion on the final day of the season.

Liverpool FC are looking to secure successive top-four finishes in Jurgen Klopp’s third full season in charge of the Merseyside outfit.

The Reds have failed to win their last four Premier League games following three stalemates with Stoke, West Brom and Everton.

Liverpool FC suffered a 1-0 loss to Chelsea FC at Stamford Bridge last weekend to leave the door ajar for the west London side.

Former Arsenal striker Wright offered some advice to Liverpool FC in the race to finish in the Champions League qualification spots.

“Chelsea do have momentum,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live. “Worryingly for Liverpool, there last few games haven’t been great.

“They have to somehow keep their mind on the Premier League and the top four spot despite that massive game.”

Liverpool FC are in the Champions League final after the Reds were 7-6 aggregate winners against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Reds will take on Real Madrid in the Kiev showpiece later this montn.
