Gary Neville has praised Liverpool FC for showing consistency under Jurgen Klopp this season.

The Reds finished in fourth place in successive seasons for the first time since 2009 to remain in the Champions League for another campaign.

Liverpool FC secured their spot in the top four thanks to a 4-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield in their final Premier League game.

The Merseyside outfit have still managed to progress to the Champions League final despite their Premier League commitments.

Liverpool FC managed to get past Portuguese outfit FC Porto, Premier League champions Manchester City and Serie A giants AS Roma in the knockout stage.

Former Manchester United defender Neville has been impressed with Liverpool FC’s improvement over the couple of seasons.

“It is the first time Liverpool have finished in the Champions League in successive seasons,” Neville told his Sky Sports podcast. “That’s consistency.”

Liverpool FC suffered a 3-1 loss to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev last weekend.

Klopp’s next challenge will be transforming Liverpool FC into Premier League champions for the first time.

The Reds appointed the German head coach as their new manager back in October 2015 from Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.
