Petit won the Premier League title and the FA Cup with Arsenal before he moved to their London rivals Chelsea FC.
Former France star Petit has spoken of his admiration for the Liverpool FC boss.
“I have a crush on Liverpool FC right now,” Petit is quoted as saying by Paddy Power. “I love Klopp and would love to play under him.”
Liverpool FC were 7-6 winners against Serie A giants AS Roma in the Champions League semi-final.
The Reds haven’t won the Champions League title since 2005 when Liverpool FC beat AC Milan on penalties in Istanbul.
