The Liverpool FC star has been a sensation in the Premier League this season following his £39m move from Serie A giants AS Roma last summer.
Salah scored 32 goals in 36 games in the English top flight to finish as the division’s leading goal-scorer ahead of Tottenham rival Harry Kane.
The Egypt international scooped the PFA player of the year award for his influential performances up front for Liverpool FC.
The 25-year-old has also netted 10 times in the Champions League to help the Reds reach the Champions League final for the first time since 2007.
However, Salah suffered a serious injury in the first half to force the African off the pitch in their 3-1 loss to Real Madrid last weekend.
Former Manchester United defender Neville has been impressed with Salah’s performances throughout his debut campaign at Liverpool FC.
“He had an incredible season,” Neville told his Sky Sports podcast.
“The goals, the assists, the threat, the penetration, the attitude – it is everything. He makes runs for the team. It’s not just the goals.
“He works so hard for the team.”
Liverpool FC beat Portuguese outfit FC Porto, Premier League champions Manchester City and Serie A giants AS Roma in the Champions League knockout stage so far.
The Reds are set to bring in Guinea international Naby Keita in a £48m deal from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window.
