Alexander-Arnold was ever present in the Liverpool FC team in the Champions League knockout stage after the Reds eased to aggregate victories over FC Porto, Manchester City and AS Roma.
The 19-year-old has scored two goals and has made two assists in 30 appearances in all competitions this season to enjoy a brilliant breakthrough campaign at the 18-time English champions.
Alexander-Arnold will be hoping to finish an incredible season with a starting spot in the Champions League final at current holders Real Madrid in Kiev later this month.
The teenager was presented with young players’ Golden Samba – an award from the club’s supporters – after Liverpool FC’s 4-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield last weekend.
Alexnader-Arnold sent a message to Liverpool FC fans following their acknowledgement of the full-back’s impressive form.
“It’s massive to get it from the Kop and all the fans. I have to thank them for all the support they have given us this season. Hopefully it will be better, if they can, next season,” Alexander-Arnold told Liverpool FC’s website.
“It’s a dream come true. Every time I put the shirt on, it’s an honour. I enjoy it no matter what. I try to go out there and play with a smile on my face, that’s what I was told to do when I was young. Every time I can play in front of the Kop especially is a dream.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth spot in the Premier League table and five points ahead of Chelsea FC to wrap up a Champions League spot.
