Emre Can is close to ending his stay at Liverpool FC by signing for Juventus, according to reports in the British media.
Website Goal is reporting that Can is on the verge of being confirmed as a Juventus player and it could happen soon after the Champions League final against Real Madrid at the end of the month.
The same story says that Liverpool FC have been unable to agree new terms with Can and that the Merseyside outfit are “resigned” to losing the 24-year-old on a free transfer when his contract expires this summer.
The article also claims that Can is prepared to sign a five-year deal with Juventus that will net him around £4m a year plus bonuses.
It is also stated that an announcement is indeed likely to be made after Liverpool FC play Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev on 26 May.
Can is currently facing a race against time to prove his fitness for Liverpool FC’s showdown clash with Real Madrid.
The German midfielder has been missing with a back injury since mid March, but he is now training with the Liverpool FC squad as he bids to get ready for the final clash.
