Liverpool FC have been in fine form this season and they booked their place in the Champions League final last week thanks to an impressive semi-final triumph over AS Roma.
The Reds are also in third place in the Premier League table as they look to cement a top-four finish for the second season running under Klopp.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss has rightly been earning lots of credit for the impact he has had at Anfield since taking over in 2015.
And ex-Manchester United defender Ferdinand feels that Klopp deserves huge amounts of praise for the exciting impact he has had since taking over at Anfield.
Speaking to BT Sport, former Red Devils star Ferdinand said: “This [reaching the Champions League final] is a great achievement.
“It’s a very inexperienced squad that Klopp has assembled and they’ve managed to get this far.
“This is very much down to Klopp – his recruitment and the way he’s got these guys believing. They’re exciting to watch.”
Liverpool FC are currently preparing for their crunch clash against Chelsea FC in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds are in third place and know that victory over the Blues would all but cement their place in the top four this term.
