Gary Neville raves about Roberto Firmino following his sparkling form for Liverpool FC this season
Gary Neville believes that Roberto Firmino is the “catalyst” in the Liverpool FC team.
The Brazilian attacker has been earning plenty of praise for his strong performances for Liverpool FC this season and he has already netted 27 goals in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Firmino’s fine form has not gone unnoticed by his club, with Liverpool FC tying him down to a new contract at Anfield last weekend.
Liverpool FC have been earning plenty of new admirers for their free-flowing attacking performances this season, and Firmino has been central to their forward play.
And former Manchester United defender Neville has talked up Firmino’s importance to the Liverpool FC team this season under Klopp.
Speaking to Sky Sports on Monday night, Neville said: “When I watch Liverpool, he’s the catalyst for everything they do.”
Firmino will be expecting to start for Liverpool FC when the Reds return to Champions League action on Wednesday night with the return leg of their crunch semi-final clash against AS Roma.
The Brazilian, who signed for the Reds from Hoffenheim, netted twice for his side in the 5-2 win over AS Roma in the first leg at Anfield last week as Klopp’s men took a big step towards reaching the Champions League final later this month.
