The striker has been settling in well to life at Anfield this season after having signed for the Reds from Chelsea FC in the summer transfer window last year.
The 20-year-old played the final 16 minutes of Liverpool FC’s disappointing 1-0 loss to Chelsea FC in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The young forward has seen his playing time limited this season, with the striker having only made four starts in the Premier League for Klopp’s men.
However, he has made a further 16 Premier League appearances from the bench for the Merseyside outfit.
And the Liverpool FC manager is convinced that the future is bright for the striker as he looks to break into the first team in the coming seasons at Anfield.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Sunday afternoon, Klopp said: “If he scores with the header, I would have been really pleased.
“He is a hard-working boy on a good way so everything will be fine in the future. Today, all strikers didn’t score, that’s how it is, but all good.”
Liverpool FC will secure their spot in the Champions League for next season if they win their final game of the season against Brighton next weekend.
The Reds will then turn their attentions towards their crunch Champions League final clash against Real Madrid in Kiev on Saturday 26 May.
