Jurgen Klopp sends Liverpool FC warning to Chelsea FC
Jurgen Klopp rates Liverpool FC's chances of finishing in the top four ahead of Chelsea FC

Jurgen Klopp has insisted that Chelsea FC still have a lot of work to do if they want to catch Liverpool FC in the race for Champions League qualification.
The Blues boosted their hopes of finishing in the top four on Sunday when they sealed a 1-0 victory over Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge thanks to Olivier Giroud’s first-half goal in west London.
Liverpool FC remain in third place in the Premier League table but they are just three points ahead of Chelsea FC with one game left to play.
Chelsea FC will look to move level on points with Liverpool FC when they play Huddersfield in their game in hand over the Reds in midweek.
The Blues will then take on Newcastle United in their final game of the season at St James’ Park as they look to try and break into the top four before the campaign is over.
And Klopp has delivered an honest assessment of how he sees the final few days of the season panning out.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Sunday afternoon, Klopp said: “Chelsea have to win the games as well, right? We play the last game at home, Chelsea plays at Newcastle, so that’s not a holiday trip.
“What I wanted this morning when I woke up, nice and easy, 3-0 win, going home, enjoying the sun and don’t care for the Brighton game, and prepare already for the final. Did I think it would happen? I was not sure.
“That’s the situation. How it looks in the moment, hopefully the boys all came through the game they showed again their outstanding character.”
Liverpool FC are preparing to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev at the end of the month.
