Jurgen Klopp has played down the speculation linking Liverpool FC with a move to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon this summer.

The Reds are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as Klopp prepares to bolster his squad ahead of next season.

Liverpool FC will be keen to make a number of key signings this summer as Klopp looks to assemble a team capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.

Fekir has been linked with a move from Lyon to the Premier League in recent weeks and he has also been touted as a target for Arsenal.

Klopp was asked directly about the speculation linking Liverpool FC with a move to sign Fekir in the summer transfer window after the Reds’ loss to Chelsea FC on Sunday.

And the Liverpool FC manager remained coy when quizzed directly about the speculation at his post-match news conference at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking at the news conference, Klopp said: “During the game, we agreed a deal?!

“I would be surprised about that to be honest. No comment.”

Liverpool FC will secure their place in the top four with victory over Brighton and Hove Albion in their final Premier League game of the season this weekend.

The Reds will take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final on 26 May.
