The Brazil international has naturally been earning huge amounts of praise for his performances for the Reds this season.
And England legend Lineker has admitted that he is indeed a keen admirer of the Liverpool FC striker following his excellent displays this season.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Lineker said of Firmino: “He’s a brilliant all-round player.
“He works his socks off, he’s got a great touch, he can hold it up, he sees a pass, he can score a goal.
“He’s good from outside the box, inside the box and he scores with his head.”
Liverpool FC are likely to be linked with a number of players in the coming weeks and months as Klopp looks to assemble a team capable of winning the title next season.
The Reds are still searching for their first trophy under the German manager and they will be hoping to end that drought when they take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev on Saturday night.
