Mohamed Salah has vowed that he will try and retain his golden boot title in the Premier League with Liverpool FC next season.

The Egypt international finished as the Premier League’s highest goal-scorer in his first campaign at Anfield as he netted 32 goals in his debut campaign with the Merseyside club.

Salah has been one of European football’s top performing players this season and has been earning plenty of praise for his strong displays for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

He has netted 43 goals in all competitions for the Reds since having signed from AS Roma in the summer transfer window last year.

Salah was also voted as the PFA player of the year following his brilliant form for the Merseyside outfit this season.

And the attacker has underlined his intention to try and win the golden boot for the second season running with Liverpool FC next term.

Speaking to Sky Sports after being presented with the trophy on Sunday, Salah said: “I will do my best to win it [again next season], 100 per cent!”

Salah and his Liverpool FC team-mates now turn their attentions towards their crunch Champions League final clash with Real Madrid in Kiev on Saturday 26 May.

The Reds are still seeking their first trophy since Klopp’s appointment at Anfield back in 2015.
