Jurgen Klopp urges Liverpool FC to seize their chance to make history by beating Real Madrid
Jurgen Klopp has urged his Liverpool FC stars to seize their chance to make history by beating Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
The Reds are currently preparing for their crunch showdown with Real Madrid in Kiev on Saturday night as they look to end their season in the best possible fashion.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League this season, and they are now focused on winning their first trophy since Klopp’s appointment at the club back in October 2015.
The Reds are the underdogs heading into Saturday’s showdown, with Real Madrid looking to become the first team in history to win the competition for three years running.
However, Klopp believes that his side have a very good chance of success against the Spanish giants as look as they are able to produce their best performances against Zinedine Zidane’s men.
Klopp is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “At the end of the day, it’s about putting in the best performance you possibly can on the day.
“That’s what you do and then you need a bit of luck in the crucial moments.
“It’s the only opportunity we have to win a trophy [this season], and we’ll do everything we can to try to bring it to a successful ending for Liverpool.”
Liverpool FC are yet to win their first trophy since Klopp was appointed at Anfield in 2015.
The Reds are bound to be linked with a number of players this summer as they look to strengthen their squad and challenge for the Premier League next season.
