Andy Robertson admits one Liverpool FC star has been a ‘different class’
Andy Robertson lavishes praise on Mo Salah following his stunning first season at Liverpool FC
Andy Robertson has become the latest Liverpool FC player to lavish yet more praise on Mohamed Salah following his brilliant season for the Reds this term.
The 25-year-old has established himself as one of European football’s top performing players this season after having joined Liverpool FC from AS Roma last summer.
Salah has scored a staggering 43 goals in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s men and won the Premier League golden boot after hitting 32 goals in the top flight this term.
He was also voted as the PFA player of the year as he was recognised by his peers as being one of the top players of the season.
And fellow summer signing Robertson, who arrived from Hull City last year, has admitted that he has been hugely impressed by Salah’s displays this season.
Speaking in an interview with Liverpool FC’s website, Robertson said: “He has been different class all season. He deserves all the plaudits he’s getting.
“He could have probably had two or three but I’m sure he’ll be happy with one. Credit to him and long may it continue for us.”
Liverpool FC will now switch their attentions towards their crunch Champions League final showdown against Real Madrid in Kiev at the end of the month.
The Reds are aiming to beat Real Madrid and lift the trophy as they seek their first piece of silverware since Klopp’s appointment at Anfield back in October 2015.
