Mo Salah sends message to his critics after sparkling Liverpool FC season
Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah insists that he always wanted to prove his critics wrong
Mohamed Salah has insisted that it was always in his mind to come back to the Premier League and prove his doubters wrong following his sparkling debut season at Liverpool FC.
The Egypt international has been earning huge amounts of praise for his strong form for the Merseyside outfit this season after his move to Anfield from AS Roma last summer.
Salah has scored a staggering 43 goals in all competitions and won the Premier League golden boot as well as the PFA player of the year award.
The 25-year-old will now be hoping to help Liverpool FC end the campaign in the best possible fashion when they take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final at the end of the month.
Salah moved to AS Roma after having been deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea FC and struggling to break into the first team.
And Salah has now revealed that it was always in his mind to come back to England and prove his critics wrong.
Salah is quoted as saying by talkSPORT: “It was always on my mind to perform the best I can.
“I had two great seasons in Rome but it was always on my mind to come back to the Premier League to show the people who said I didn’t succeed here the first time and prove that I can be a success in the Premier League.”
The attacker will be expecting to start for Liverpool FC when the Reds take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev on Saturday 26 May.
