Steven Gerrard has credited Jurgen Klopp with bringing out the very best in Liverpool FC since his move to the Anfield club.

The German manager was appointed as the boss at Anfield back in October 2015 following Brendan Rodgers’ sacking and he has earned huge amounts of praise for the strong impact he has had at the Merseyside outfit.

Klopp led Liverpool FC to a top four finish in the Premier League this season as they impressed in the top flight.

Liverpool FC also reached the Champions League final but ended up losing 3-1 to Real Madrid in Kiev as the wait for their first trophy under Klopp goes on.

However, the Merseyside outfit have been earning huge amounts of praise for their strong performances and brilliant attacking displays this season.

And former Liverpool FC captain Gerrard has lavished praise on Klopp for the big impact he has had at Anfield since taking over from Rodgers almost three years ago.

Speaking to BT Sport, Gerrard said: “What he’s done to this Liverpool FC team, how much he’s improved them… This is the most exciting Liverpool team I’ve seen for a very long time.”

Attentions will now turn to the summer transfer window and the players Liverpool FC could look to bring in to strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

The Reds are still aiming to win their first piece of silverware under Klopp.
