Ian Wright believes Real Madrid will be petrified to face Liverpool FC’s attack in the Champions League final.

The Reds booked their place in the Champions League showpiece in Kiev thanks to a dramatic 7-6 aggregate win against AS Roma.

Liverpool FC were 5-2 winners against AS Roma in the first leg of the last-four clash at Anfield after goals from Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

The Merseyside outfit managed to progress on aggregate to the Champions League final in Ukraine despite a 4-2 loss to AS Roma at Stadio Olimpico.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have scored 34 times in the Champions League this season, with Firmino, Mane and Salah finding the net 29 times in the European competition.

Real Madrid edged past Bayern Munich in the last four after a dramatic 2-2 draw at The Bernabeu last week.

Zinedine Zidane’s side have won the Champions League in three of the past four seasons, including back-to-back triumphs in 2016 and 2017.

Former Arsenal star Wright believes Real Madrid will be worried about the prospect of taking on Liverpool FC in the final.

“If Liverpool get through, Real Madrid will be petrified to play Liverpool. They really will,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.

Liverpool FC were 1-0 winners against Real Madrid in the European Cup final in 1981.
