Christian Pulisic sent advice about potential Liverpool FC transfer
ESPN FC pundit Alejando Moreno tells Christian Pulisic to ignore Liverpool FC's interest and remain at Borussia Dortmund
Christian Pulisic should stick with Borussia Dortmund to further his development, according to ESPN FC pundit Alejandro Moreno.
The United States international has been attracting interest from Premier League duo Liverpool FC and Manchester United in recent months.
Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp oversaw Pulisic’s signing in February 2015 before he stood down at the end of the campaign.
The Reds manager has funds to spend this summer given Philippe Coutinho’s £142m move to FC Barcelona in the January transfer window.
Pulisic has scored 12 times in 97 games in all competitions during his three-season stay at Dortmund to establish himself as a key player.
However, ESPN FC pundit Moreno believes Pulisic would be better suited remaining at Dortmund for another 12 months.
“In my estimation, he would be better served staying at Dortmund and continue to grow there,” Moreno told ESPN FC.
“Once he become the best version of himself then take that jump.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table to secure a place in the Champions League in successive seasons.
The Reds appointed Klopp as Brendan Rodgers’ replacement in October 2015.
Liverpool FC haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
