Craig Bellamy believes Liverpool FC still need to sign a goalkeeper in the summer.

The Reds have stuck with German goalkeeper Loris Karius over the past few months ahead of Simon Mignolet.

Liverpool FC have made progress in the Champions League thanks to victories over FC Porto, Manchester City and AS Roma.

Karius has made steady progress in the Liverpool FC team, with Mignolet facing an uncertain future at the Merseyside outfit.

The Reds have been linked with AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson and Stoke City shot stopper Jack Butland in recent weeks.

Liverpool FC were 4-0 winners against Brighton and Hove Albion in their final Premier League game of the campaign on Sunday.

Former Reds striker Bellamy the Merseyside outfit need to improve their goalkeeping options at the end of the season.

“I am concerned about the goalkeeper,” Bellamy told Sky Sports.

“It is an area they are going to have to do something with in the summer.”

Klopp’s side were 5-2 winners against AS Roma in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final before a 4-2 loss to the Italian giants in Rome.

Liverpool FC signed Netherlands international Virgil van Dijk in a £75m deal from Southampton in the January transfer window.
