Liverpool FC are keen on a summer move to sign Malcom from Bordeaux this summer, say reports
Liverpool FC have singled out Malcom as one of their top summer transfer targets, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Reds are keen on making a move to land the 21-year-old Brazilian from Bordeaux as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
The same report says that Manchester United have also held preliminary talks about a move for the winger, while Tottenham and Arsenal have also been linked with the player.
According to the same story, Liverpool FC have placed Malcom on a transfer shortlist which also includes Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey and Christian Pulisic of Borussia Dortmund.
The article also claims that Malcom is valued at around £40m by the Ligue 1 side ahead of the summer transfer window.
The winger has been in good form for Bordeaux this season, scoring 10 goals and making six assists in 33 Ligue 1 games for the French side.
Liverpool FC are likely to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and months as Klopp looks to build a side capable of winning the title next term.
The Reds are set to take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev at the end of the month.
