Spanish media outlet Don Balon, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that the Liverpool FC boss has given his permission for Salah to be sold to Real Madrid in a mammoth deal.
The Reds signed Salah in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma last summer despite his disappointing eight-month stint at Chelsea FC back in 2014.
The reigning PFA player of the year has scored 43 times in all competitions to become one of the stars of the Premier League.
Don Balon state that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane wants to sign Salah to improve his squad following a disappointing domestic campaign for los Blancos.
The same article claims the Spanish side are prepared to make the Egypt international the second-most expensive player in the world behind Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.
According to the same story, Liverpool FC’s interest in Nabil Fekir is a result of Salah’s proposed move to Real Madrid.
The Reds will face Zidane’s men in the Champions League final in Kiev later this month.
